What is kindness?
The dictionary definition of kindness is:
‘The quality of being generous, helpful,
and caring about other people’. But
what does this really mean?
To fully grasp its meaning, it’s important
to first understand what kindness isn’t.
Being kind is often associated with
words like nice, soft, weak and easy.
However, kind isn’t any of these things.
Kind is stronger than nice. Kind says
what needs to be said when “soft”
dances around the subject. Kind faces
up to difficulty and discomfort where
