We’ve all heard the saying “treat others as you
want to be treated”, but you’re probably also
familiar with terms like “nice guys finish last”.
So, should we be kind? Obviously, people like
to be treated with kindness, but does too much
kindness suggest some degree of weakness?
Sort of like how Ned Flanders is constantly
pushed around by Homer in The Simpsons.
Does kindness hamper our development as a
person and our career aspirations?
Well ‘neighborino’, choosing to be kind is not
just a cornerstone of our individual mental
health, but it also strengthens relationships,
develops community and deepens solidarity.
The benefits of being kind far outweigh any
