What Happens If I Drink Too Much Water?
Believe it or not, you can become overhydrated, so there's a happy medium you need
to consider for your daily water intake. Similar to dehydration, you may experience
symptoms like nausea, headaches, and fatigue. You may even contract an illness called
hyponatremia, which is where the sodium levels within your blood are diluted. In
addition, you may even overwhelm your kidneys if you drink water too excessively.
In the most extreme cases of hyponatremia, you may experience seizures, loss of
consciousness, or even death. While there are recommended amounts of water you
should drink, each person is different. As such, it's better to use the urine test instead
of drinking water in excess and risk developing hyponatremia.
