2025, Brisbane hosted the
largest HYROX event in
the country, a琀琀rac琀椀ng over
9,000 昀椀nishers and doubling
the par琀椀cipa琀椀on from the
previous year. Melbourne
is set to host its own
HYROX event in December
2025, providing another
opportunity for 昀椀tness
enthusiasts to engage in this
challenging compe琀椀琀椀on.
Beyond HYROX, local
gyms and communi琀椀es are
organising their own hybrid
compe琀椀琀椀ons to cater to
the growing interest. Events
like The District Games and
ATHX Games o昀昀er accessible
and community-focused
alterna琀椀ves, emphasising
par琀椀cipa琀椀on and camaraderie
over compe琀椀琀椀on.

worldwide, with more than
550,000 athletes par琀椀cipa琀椀ng
in 2025 alone. Other notable
events include DEKA FIT,

the Hybricon Games, known

for their rigorous virtual
Interna琀椀onally, hybrid 昀椀tness
quali昀椀ers and global reach.
