RISK
Prostate cancer occurs when abnormal
cells grow uncontrollably in the prostate
gland.
It's the most common cancer in
Australian men, with about 1 in 12 men
developing it by age 70.
Early prostate cancer may have no
symptoms. When symptoms occur, they
can include problems with urination,
pain in the lower back, upper thighs, or
hips, and blood in the urine or semen.
